Craft for the World — Hebei Quyang Stone Carving Exhibition was organised jointly by the National Museum of China, the Hebei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Hebei Provincial Cultural Heritage Bureau, the Baoding Municipal People's Government, the Hebei Museum and the Quyang County People's Government. In two sections, A Thousand Years of Radiance and Ancient Rhyme in Contemporary Form, it gathered the most representative surviving works of Quyang carving from the Han, Northern and Southern Dynasties, Sui and Tang, Five Dynasties, Song and Yuan periods, and set beside them fine contemporary works by Quyang carvers that answer the present age with invention. Together they gave a full picture of Quyang stone carving across its historical periods and a systematic account of its transmission, its techniques and its renewal.
Three works by Master Gao were shown at the National Museum: Soul of China — Yellow Emperor, Soul of China — Yan Emperor and Soul of China — Chiyou.
