A Delegation from the Party Affairs Cadre Training Class of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Trade Unions Visits Hebei Great Master Group for Practical Teaching
On November 5, 2026, a delegation from the Party Affairs Cadre Training Class of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Trade Unions visited Hebei Great Master Art Group and Gao Yingpo Art Museum for practical teaching activities.
The delegation was led by Han Liqun, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, and more than 50 Party affairs cadres from the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions participated in the practical teaching. Wen Lin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Baoding Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and First-Level Researcher; Bian Fenglei, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Audit Committee of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions; and Men Chenghui, Deputy Director of the County People's Congress Standing Committee and Chairman of the County Federation of Trade Unions, accompanied the research. Master Gao Yingpo, Chief Technician of Hebei Great Master Art Group, warmly received the visiting delegation.
In the art museum, Gao Yingpo led everyone to visit the various themed exhibition halls, eloquently recounting the thousand-year cultural heritage of Quyang stone carving, sharing his own journey of artistic growth and commitment to tradition with innovation, and introducing the creative concepts and technical challenges of stone carving works, as well as the group's practical achievements in intangible cultural heritage inheritance, craftsman cultivation, industry-university-research integration, and innovative transformation of carving techniques.
Each meticulously crafted stone carving work, combining traditional heritage with contemporary connotations, drew visitors to stop and examine them closely and engage in discussion. Everyone experienced up close the unique charm of Quyang carving where "every cut and chisel reveals craftsmanship," gained an intuitive understanding of the development of the intangible cultural heritage industry, craftsman talent cultivation, Party building leadership, and the construction of model worker innovation platforms, and deeply appreciated the craftsman spirit of striving for perfection and pursuing excellence.
Subsequently, the delegation moved to the Ding kiln porcelain carving exhibition area. Master Gao Yingpo introduced the long history, glaze characteristics, and firing techniques of Ding kiln white porcelain, explained the group's exploratory practice in promoting cross-sector integration and innovation between Quyang stone carving and Ding porcelain, two major intangible cultural heritages, and displayed new integrated works combining the sculptural language of stone carving with the warm texture of Ding porcelain. The plain and elegant Ding porcelain works, warm as jade with lustrous glaze, fully displayed the refined character of the Five Great Kilns, allowing everyone to appreciate the unique splendor of two Quyang intangible cultural heritages—carving and firing—shining together.
Everyone praised Great Master Group for, under the leadership of the Party branch, deeply cultivating Quyang carving and Ding porcelain, two national-level intangible cultural heritages, and fully affirmed its efforts in inheriting dual intangible cultural heritages with craftsmanship and giving play to the exemplary and leading role of model workers and craftsmen.
This research activity was not only a deep integration of Party building and craftsman culture, but also an encouragement to the group's work in intangible cultural heritage inheritance and craftsman cultivation. Next, Hebei Great Master Art Group will continue to adhere to Party building leadership, continue to do a good job in protecting and inheriting the two intangible cultural heritage skills of Quyang stone carving and Ding porcelain, continue to give play to the exemplary and driving role of model workers and craftsmen, tell the story of Quyang craftsmen well, cultivate highly skilled talents in carving and Ding porcelain, and promote the integrity-based innovation, living inheritance, and innovative development of carving culture and Ding porcelain techniques, contributing the power of craftsmanship to the high-quality development of cultural tourism and the craft industry.
